Primecare Gold

Health cash options

There are three further generous cash benefits you can add to your Primecare Gold cover, for an additional premium. And if you opt for the extra benefits, you can include your family - even if they're not covered by your main policy.

Critical Illness Cover

Offset the blow of losing an income while ill with a tax-free lump sum payout of £5,000 or £10,000, depending on the premium level you choose. You'll receive your cash benefit 30 days after being diagnosed with a critical condition - more than 20 are covered including heart attack, stroke and loss of hearing. Available for adults under 50, cover continues to age 60.

Personal Accident benefit

Provide extra security for you and your family should you be permanently injured, disabled or die in an accident, with a tax-free payout of up to £100,000.

Hospital Cash

Receive generous cash sums to help with the family budget when you have to stay in hospital whether you're being treated privately or on the NHS. Receive £50 per night or £100 if you have a serious illness such as a heart attack. The nightly benefit is halved for under 21s and over 60s.

Major Dental Cash

This plan provides you with up to £1,500 cash per policy year for major NHS or private dental work, such as crowns and bridges, and up to £5,000 for dental injuries. It is included as standard in Primecare Gold cover.
